Another thing about composing. It's like cooking a meal. You can have the best ingredients in the world but if you don't know which elements go where and for how long, all you get is sonic soup. For me composing is like architecture for the ears. An aural jigsaw puzzle. You only get an idea of the big picture once most of the pieces are in place. And it's a hell of a lot of fun trying to figure it all out. I have a number of pieces of Ebb & Flow Part 2 in the works but I could not figure out how to get it started - tried 7 different versions but nothing seemed to really work. This morning the solution came out of nowhere. The ideas fairy must have stopped by during the night!
