BOB DYLAN "down in the groove" cd, 1988.
was never one of my go-to albums by Dylan and thought it was time for a re-appraisal of sorts...
Wow, what a pleasant surprise, had only intended to hear it once over the weekend but ended up getting through it half a dozen times...
never ever did i think i would do that as i had previously thought of this as a low point in his career but time is wonderful...
Dylan only wrote four of these and theres a 'traditional folk' song, not sure if the others are all covers or written for him...
this is a fine rock and roll album for me, good singing, melodies and tunes...
