My wife and I have different musical tastes so I rarely play music I like when she's around.
When I'm driving my truck I have a cassette adapter for my iPod and play it on shuffle mode to get a random selection of music. When I'm driving the car I listen to CDs because there's no cassette and I don't have the FM iPod adapter.
At work I cycle through my six "test" stations on Pandora until I've maxed out my thumbs down ratings on each one, then I switch to one of my other Pandora stations or listen to music I've ripped onto my computer.
When I'm home by myself I'll usually pick CDs to play and listen to them.
Some days I listen to music practically all day long, other days I don't listen to any music, however those days are rare.
