John Paul Jones was born John Richard Baldwin on this day in 1946 in Kent, England. He’s a pretty amazing muso and arranger, and has had THE most eclectic and interesting career! He was a musical director in his teens, for example, and he never stopped doing session work, even while with Led Zeppelin. Very busy fella – immensely talented.
