Oh – you might be surprised at what I DO listen to. Or try to listen to! I check out a lot of the clips you all post (with obvious exceptions - not gonna torture myself - see no point in that!). I dipped into the Taylor Swift album - it doesn’t interest me at all. Very MOR. In 50 years from now, I doubt any of these songs will be remembered and the Swifty hype goes right over my head. I understand the entertainment package and the appeal, especially in our Insta world, but can her music stand up on its own? Does it even need to? Everything about the music industry has changed beyond recognition, and in a relatively short period of time. I'm obviously old school - Amen.
I had a go at the new Pearl Jam too. Fizzled out halfway through that. Initially thought I could manage it but the sounds became annoying – like a bee buzzing around my head. Lol! Gave the new Ian Hunter a listen as well. Meh.
