Sounds like Simon's ego is getting away from him. Why mess with a good thing? If anything, he should try his new projects on the side, and not screw with AI so long as the ratings are still there.
Why does it have to be a choice between Ellen and Paula? I couldn't stand Paula, and was glad to see her go. How about a judge that has something useful to say? I think the middle spot should be a rotating one until they find a judge that works.
