I guess being a Jewish family that may not have been well received amongst certain members of the Sa population neither...
specialises in the Moog synth, and Hammond-B organ...
his bands Manfred Mann, Manfred Mann Chapter Three and Manfred Mann's Earth Band were named after him...
had a string of hits through the 60s and 70s with various incarnations of those names...
he still performs in jazz clubs to this day...
obviously he is not a vocalist so I can pick anything he was involved with so heres my favourite of his with Paul Jones on lead vocals...
