MOODY BLUES "long distance voyager" vinyl/cd 1981
a revisit
their tenth studio album
always loved this album cover with its gatefold image and its blue hue
cover art based on "punch" by 19th Century English artist Thomas Webster
if you look closely on the cover there is an image of the Voyager-1 spacecraft (not telling you where though, youll have to look for it)
anyway,
i always thought the Moody's were overrated, never understood the passion people have for them, i mean i loved "go now" from 1965 and their first album with Denny Laine on vocals. also love "nights in white satin" but the 1970s albums just bore me to tears.
this one is brilliant IMO except "nervous" which i still do not like much
proficient musicians, vocalists and song writers that no one can deny
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
a random pick because i couldntly consciously decide which one to link:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
