ROD STEWART "atlantic crossing" cd/vinyl 1975
a revisit
his sixth of thirty-three, i own them all
first album without "the faces" (Ronnie Wood and Ian McLagan)
but he acquired Memphis Horns and Booker T & The MG's
first half are rockers, second half more subdued and ballady
a solid album that scores around 2.3 from me on this occasion which means
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
favourite, the Danny Whitten penned classic:
"BTO....Bachman,Turner,Overweight
They were big in the 70s....for five minutes,on a Saturday,after lunch..." - Me 2014.
