This is a hard one as I don`t really know your musical taste but I'll try with a few classics and see how you go...........I've pasted the review that I put on the forum to give you some idea of what to expect
Sun records has a least two famous sons and whilst one was preparing to go to Vagas , Johnny was preparing to go to prison...................In 1969 country music was not at the top of America's agenda.......comebacks by artists who were big 15 years ago were the nerve racking choice of the day and Johnny was not really big news anymore.......................so he decided to walk into San Quintin jail with a small band of musicians and play a concert that would be recorded both onto vinyl and captured on video for UK TV.............As the gates of the jail closed , a question was asked about what happens if things go wrong ..........the answer came that there were many hard prisoners and too few warders ........they would do their best but .............................So as the albums starts you can smell the tension .................these guys don't get much entertainment and maybe the lambs have just walked right among the wolves.........................."Hello ........"My name is Johnny Cash" is all he needs to say and you can feel the electricity!!!!!!! Johnny starts , the crowd tastes him and ponders ......it chews on Johnny a bit longer it smiles and thinks this is tough but, I like it............the tension recedes and Johnny is accepted .......as he goes through the standards, Johnny shows that he can work any audience and get respect.......his songs show that he don't need a jump suit and Vagas to touch anyone's soul .....he just has to reach out and play ...........He gives them standards and June and the team improvise to give him an excellent backing from minimal resources.....................then he tells the crowd that he has written a song for them ..................."San Quentin..............I hate every inch of you"
he sings and the cons have a hero! Further this big tall man meets god twice! A song he co-wrote with Bob Dylan and a song written whilst in Israel. You can feel the legend in this recording and after 60 mins you know why Johnny is still so highly regarded...........................This CD is really worth getting locked up for!!!
Which, if you try to pick flowers at two am in a small town ..........but that's another story

Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!
It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown..............................Chris Simpson ( "Mixed Up Sensations" 1975 Martin's Cafe )
