Artists I discovered in 2009...
Nas - well I sort of knew an odd track or two of his before but 2009 was the year
I got into him properly
My Dying Bride - excellent Doom Metal band
Discharge - harcore punk, verging on Thrash
La Roux and Lady Gaga both excited me with their synth heavy pop music
That's all I can think of at the moment. It wasn't one of my best years for discovering new artists.
