Difficult to say, really, because there are so many good ones out there.
But I'd say that Ennio Morricone's The Good, The Bad and The Ugly is a contender.
The thing about film music is that, whatever your taste, you'll find something you like i.e. film scores are written for the film and therefore may be classical, country, rock, big band, electronic or whatever.
