which brings me to a quote from Paul McCartney...
he was asked to give a lecture about music at a university in the UK some years back and he said...
"they can teach you all the specifics of music with the proper chord progressions and how to read music, but real music with feeling and emotion comes from the heart and soul" (or words to that effect)
I think he nailed it in that one sentence, which basically means what you just wrote J-Man.
