Brill Building Clasics Vs Old English Charm
#4
I take the point CH ..................I think that Jagger and Richard could be hard and rough but so could Ray Davis.......................What I felt was that their approach could be quaint in the fact that they wrote to the whims and feelings where as The Brill building approach was a production line, sit at a desk/piano produce a hit by 5.00pm and make it fit "The Kids" and what the adults wanted them to hear..................The UK idea was more freelance and to my mind quaint that they worked at their own pace and wrote about why they felt .........there was no production line of hits ............Cool
Nice to be able to go back to trust and friendship!!!!!!!!!

It's a mixed up sensation this being alive
Oh! it wears a man down into the ground
It's the strangest elation
I can't describe it
Oh it leaves a man weary
It makes a man frown.
