Apparantly, Jerry Goldsmith and some studio person watched the un-scored film in the screening room and then the studio chap asked the composer what he thought. Goldsmith didn't have a clue what he was going to do and said choir and black mass on the spur of the moment. I don't know if this is true, though. |
