Seriously mate, if I'm desperate for an album I quite often will pay those prices on amazon/ebay in order to obtain one. Not that long ago, I paid 60 odd quid for an extremely rare Bill Nelson (Be Bop Deluxe) 4CD boxset and t-shirt from the late 80s on ebay (the bidding was intense!) which otherwise would have cost me in excess of £100 per album.
Thanks for the recommendations and I'll check back here tomorrow when I'm buying them. Had a quick look already and a few you mentioned are around the £10 mark so will probably get those to start off with.
