not sure who can answer this one for me but im thinking Gryphon or Jerome may have a fair idea....its about musicians and their income
1.if they sign a contract for say $X for 3 albums, how is it paid?
2.is the above $X an allowance to record each album in the contract?
3.do they generally gat paid monthly,quarterly, annually?
4. is a contract for a tour organised by promoters and record company and/or are the artists included in the contract process?
5. do they generally get $X per gig or share of ticket price?
6.how are airplay royalties determined? do the radio stations have to keep a record of every track they play? and where do these royalties come from?
