HW served as a backing vocalist for Carmel before this debut record from 1987.
Soft Rock with some Jazzy vocals. Her voice reminded me of some of Joni Mitchell's Jazzier stuff.
IIRC I bought this following a review in a hi-fi mag at the time. This album for me exemplifies where hi-fi buffs get it so wrong. The music is flawlessly delivered by some top session players, and the production is impeccable, but the music is fairly soulless.
Sounds great, but lacks music. Probably haven't played this in 20 years, and it could be another 20 years before it gets another spin.
Not scored by AllMusic (Too crap, probably...).
