This was a 1990 debut for a side project from Kim Deal (of the Pixies), and Tanya Donnelly (of Throwing Muses).
Definitely contains elements of both bands, which is a good thing, but somehow misses the x-factor of either.
A good album of Alternative Rock songs, but no more. The AllMusic review rates this as better than either the Pixies then-current album Bossanova, or the Muses then-current album Hunkpapa, both of which I'd rate well above this.
AllMusic 4+/5 stars.
