AIRBOURNE "no guts, no glory", cd, 2010.
second album by theis Aussie hard rock outfit from Brisbane,
these guys were still only 20ish when they released this one,
owes a lot in sound to that of their idols..AC/DC. these guys are more popular in Europe than here in australia, have played Europes "rock am ring" festival on two occasions.
anyway, only listened to this one as relative background music this morning...Dani wanted to hear some AC/DC...couldnt find hers and mine are still packed but i had this one in my "to listen" to pile so i grabbed it.
a very stylish rock album, typical simplistic repeatative riffs, simple beats and strong vocals...all of which are essential to make a great Hard Rock album.
i like this album, would certainly rate somewhere between 2.0 and 2.3 if i had sat down and listened properly.
