After dancing with a girl at a club to one catchy song we liked, they play another. then another. then another. now we have 4 songs stuck in our heads all day. On top of that, women physically can not overplay ANYTHING.
99% of the music I listen to underground. So you best believe I'm not at the club much ; )
As a woman I have to respond to this. I listen to very little 'mainstream' music. Why not just blame the gay population? Haven't you heard they love to dance? And they have the disposable income to blow on their favorite pop stars? That would make you a homo-phobe just as this is making you sound like a sexist. I see plenty of men with horrible taste in music or an inability to let go of whatever genre was popular in their youth. Record companies keep churning out the same garbage 'alternative rock' formula for men coming up on middle age and they buy it. Let's just agree that most of the population has bad taste or doesn't have the time to seek out new bands and they listen to whatever is spoon-fed to them by the record companies. The record companies who have given up on seeking out new talent and developing it. It's too costly for them I guess.
