yes RIP Levon...always sad when someone dies, but i aint gonna miss The Band's music,thought they were grossly overrated, famous IMO simply for being Dylan's backing band on Blonde On Blonde...
did love The Weight song, but not their version of The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down...infact reviewed their "best of" set here a couple of weeks ago,came out ok, but not overly great for a best of collection IMO
