I love this album ! Awhile ago I nominated it for the Classic Albums thread and it easily got voted in by our intelligent MD members !!!!!

JEFFERSON AIRPLANE "surrealistic pillow" cd,1967.

i originally bought this one on the strength of "white rabbit" without really knowing what these guys were capable of achieving....
now, that song only gets a 'like' rating...there's probably six or seven better songs on here which blew my mind back in the day...
not all psychadelia here, a couple of ballads and some great folk-rock also....
the 'summer of love' was not all about "sgt.peppers", this one is as good if not better than that one in its own way, bring back the hippie dream!!!
