crap!, another album by an artist im not keen on overall!
America's debut set, fares better than i htought it would...
i guess these guys would be classed as classic rock now but back in the day i guess they'd have been called folk-rock/pop.
very much akin with Crosby,Stills and Nash, and probably also Neil Young to an extent...
look, im not a fan, but theres a couple of bloody great songs on here, and Horse With No Name is not one of them IMO, thats an average song IMO, well, what do you expect when it gets airplay over and over again...just get sick of hearing it everyday.
anyway that track reached #1 both here and in the US...Australians were right up on these guys from day one also.
favourite track here is the beautiful 'i need you'...folky-poppy songs dont get much better than this IMO, up there with Tin Man for me as their best tracks!
