It's due to the massive popularity of the concert and world tours, Trace ! YouTube has tons of Green Day Live footage ...all the crowds are huge ! That translates to people old and new to GD to buy their music....I think Dookie was their best studio effort ? I know myself personally, after seeing a band or artist live I have an immediate urge to buy or revisit their music .
