2. YES it is a masterpiece, one of my favourite's by Elton....Queen also recorded a Lennon tribute, cant recall the title,think it was on their "hot space" album, was also the "b" side to their "thank god its christmas" single(which i also own)
i think Paul McCartney's tribute to Lennon on his superb 1982 album Tug Of War is the best tribute of all though...
