at the time i thought John's stuff was a bit weird, George's was a bit boring,Ringo's okay but Paul's was rock orientated...
first album i bought by one of those guys was McCartneyII,then Ringo's "stop and smell the roses",George's "somewhere in england" then they came out with "beatle ballads" and "john lennon collection", so ive really been hooked since 1979-80ish i guess...
oh yeh, i bought John's "starting over" single the day before he died....
first cd i bought was "sgt peppers" when it was released in 1987, also got Dire Straits "making movies" and Dylan's "infidels" on the same day...
