sorry SteveO, but as much as i like The Beatles...
how many 'awards' and bits of 'recognition' do they really need???
theyve got it all!
just seems like the Grammy's have thought "we've got 20minutes of time to fill in,lets honor the Beatles with something else"
its just seems pointless to me, and the acts who are doing the tribute...well, theyre not real 'legends' IMO...or have any connection to the Fab Four whatsoever, except maybe Dave Stewart who was a friend of George's.
personally, i think they should do a tribute to people like Little Richard,Fats Domino,Jerry Lee and Chuck Berry as those guys have never recieved the real recognition they deserve as the forerunners of rock and roll(and at least theyre still alive to appreciate it)
