I know! there's this whole 'breakbeat' movement, combining death metal and baroque. Igorrrr, etc.
Also, just gothic, 'depressive' metal:

Reminds me of some of the nocturnes, and Bach (the first) darker moments...well, not really, but they try.
There are better examples, but I'm at a loss. There are truly 'depressive' metal bands, playing baroque....
