I encourage everyone to make a profile on last fm who loves music. Or heck..anyone who is just a light music listener so the site can turn you into a serious music lover. I made my profile back in 2012 I think, didn't expect at the time to enjoy it that much or find a lot of artists that I'd love. Well, I couldn't have been more wrong! Heh..now I'm literally on last fm everyday. Never a dull moment. You can even discover new artists that you might like from browsing others profiles on last fm! Last fm is simply one of the best resources for helping you find new music that you'll love and one of the best sites (if not the best) ever for bringing more people together that truly love music and always encouraging you to stay in a constant state of happiness listening (or scrobbling) to music. I love last fm!
Other good sites, or rather music streaming sites that are very effective in helping you find new music based on other artists that you love is
Mog.com and Rdio.com. Last fm's radio is also great and way better than Pandora's for discovering new music. Additionally, Youtube is a good resource as well.
