PETER CRISS "criss-cat #1" cd, 1994
solo career stats:
studio albums............5
singles......................5
this album: no chart action
singles:
"good times"....no chart action
ex-KISS drummer Peter Criss' fourth studio album...
more of the same old lame crap on this as with "let me rock you" and "one for all"...
again, a very uninspired piece of work...
one cover version on this one...a cover of his own "beth"...dont without the orchestral music like the original KISS "destroyer" version, this time
its acoustic with fellow KISS outcast Ace Frehley plucking the strings...its not bad,but i still prefer the original 1976 version.
two other ballads on here i like in "good times" which centres around a marriage breakup(presumably his own), and an autobiographical account of
finding out his mum was dying in "blue moon over brooklyn" and him being way over in LA...
both of those are cool songs as is the forementioned "beth", but the other eight tracks....forget 'em.
its a shame really, because i always like Criss' KISS songs and thought he was a great balladeer with Rod Stewart type raspy vocals.
I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM
