[CRAZY-HORSE]

ELVIS COSTELLO "when i was cruel" cd, 2002

career stats:
studio albums.......30
singles.................62

this album stats: #17 UK, #34 AU, #20 US
singles:
"tear off your own head"......#58 UK
"45"..................................#92 UK

the other Elvis' nineteenth album....
the first one to feature The Imposters as his backing band...but they were essentially The Attractions minus original bass player....
lots of great sounds on htis one...some tracks like "45" hark back to the old New Wave sounds he was making in the late 1970s,
other tracks are more acoustic and melodic, like fans had grown accustomed to over the preceeding decade and a half...
all up, another very good album from an artist who survived the whole UK punk scene to flourish into a well respected, well versed and classy musician, and still does to this day!
