Rock is scarce. Alternative has become very mellow and whiny lol not that I don't enjoy it. Nothing has pardon me, balls anymore. I have trouble thinking of bands I consider rock. Pearl Jam was clumped into alternative but to me they are a rock band but it was back in the 90's that they started labeling things 'alternative' to make them sell. It's irritating. I think the only current rock band I listen to is The Black Keys. Well, Pearl Jam is still current too. Then again I've been out of it for a bit.
