ok,opinion time from the Young-phile of MD......
firstly, this will be his fifth album since 2011 following the abysmal Daniel Lanoise produced "le noise", the Crazy Horse covers set "americana", the double Crazy Horse "psychadelic pill" and this years worse than abysmal covers set "a letter home"....
its not the first time Neil has used an orchestra(or parts of an orchestra), he used one on his "harvest" set in the early 1970s....
from one listen, i dont think the linked track above is great but its a vast improvement on the majority of material he has released on the above mentioned albums...
and yet again, Young does his usual unexpected about turn to release something no one expected of him...
it cant be any worse than "a letter home",which BTW, i have not bought because it was so bad!
and looking foreward to hearing the whole project when its released!
