Mmm I don't think I got the idea of this thread across properly. I'd like for folks here, if they could, to share their ownixtape of songs that they enjoyed from their childhood. Even from your teenage years if anyone is up for it. For example I'm a 90s child, so any mixtape I share here is most likely a 90s mixtape. I've been trying to narrow it to 12 songs to stick with the same number of tracks of the Awesome Mixtape on the first post of this thread, but haven't made much progress. Anyway here are a few songs from childhood I though were awesome:
Lighthouse Family- High
GooGoo Dolls- Iris
Coolio- C U When U Get There
The Cranberries- Zombie
Crash Test Dummies- Mmm Mmm Mmm
R.E.M.- Losing My Religion
Papa Bear- Cherish
Blackstreet- No Diggity
Salt N Pepa- Shoop
Faith No More- Easy
Shawn Mullins- Lullaby
Tonic- If You Could Only See
Charles & Eddie- Would I Lie To You?
Hootie & The Blowfish- Let Her Cry
Counting Crows- Mr Jones
Eagle Eye Cherry- Save Tonight
Aerosmith- I Don't Want To Miss A Thing
KCi & JoJo- All My Life
Michael Jackson- Give Into Me
The Fugees- Killing Me Softly
TLC- Waterfalls
Smash Mouth- Walkin' On The Sun
Sublime- What I Got
Tim McGraw- Just To See You Smile
Alan Jackson- Here In The Real World
Pearl Jam- Better Man
AC/DC- Thunderstruck
I know, I know it's a pretty mediocre list but I really enjoyed these tunes as a kid. I had the music program "Rage" on channel ABC and my Aunt and Uncle as the main suppliers of this list. Anyway folks don't be shy to share your own list or if you were able to manage your own mixtape of memories.
