There's nothing more I love to hear than a young, upbeat guy celebrating life. If I'd known Tim Buckley personally, I'd have given him all the drugs he needed to end his life earlier. It seems to me that that those who like this music are in a Schadenfreude state--and glorious in being happier than this sad-sack singing about how miserable he is. Not the way I wish to live my life.
