I really loved the guitar playing of Steve Laury. I was about 15 years old and playing in a Rock band in 72' and he would stop in to say hello. I would hand him my guitar and the rest was history. He was about 19 or 20 then....in the mid to late 70's he traveled to the west coast and formed Fattburger which was a Jazz/fusion type of style. Then he left Fattburger to write his own music and for a while he was an internationally known Jazz artist. Some live footage of his playing is on Youtube and he is a fine player. Originally he lived in Vineland N.J. and developed a reputation as a universal type of guitarist within the Jazz/Blues/ and Rock music scenes.
