Yesterday, I could feel myself getting into a dispute with someone at PE over my indifference to Roger Waters, but acknowledgement that he contributed great basslines to Pink Floyd's work. This other person's contention was (a) with my use of the word 'great' and (b) that it was probable David Gilmour played those bass parts. Anyway, I posted a reply (on the possible unreliability of secondary sources) and then decided this person was trying to wind me up, so I went back and completely deleted the post. Sometimes you just have to let people sound off, no matter how irrational they appear!
