Interesting thesis--we do get a 400% better paper yield than from wood pulp and it makes a great fiber for clothing, etc. (at least equal to cotton or linen). And it's totally legal everywhere in the US--the non-intoxicating part that is. It was widely grown in the US Midwest during WW II for clothing and "ditch weed" is still widely found growing naturally all over Kansas, etc. A little imagination, a little technology and there you go. That which is not otherwise usable makes good biomass for use in steam generating plants. An outstanding plant that needs little or no care to grow (as I indicated above). I'll now climb down off the pulpit...
