very few artist on this weeks list i know...

Art Garfunkel????....havent heard of him for a while

Alanis Morrissette...read a review of her new one in today's paper...said it was too slick,over produced, and that she's lost her 'edge'...personally i thought she lost her 'mojo' after the brilliant "jagged little pill".

Roxy Music...not a big fan, but a complete boxset would be alright for people who havent got their entire collection who do like them...i would get this if it was dirt cheap,otherwise, not really!

'scratching the surface'...got that right mate! theres far too much music around to listen to it all but i try to listen to a couple of new releases at allmusic everyweek by artists i dont know just to keep up with the 'in thing', am mostly dissapointed by them, but hey...the odd little 'gem' is good...like finding a needle in a haystack sometimes

and thats without discovering the oldies i have overlooked in the past,but thankfully i have been guided at times by members here...best road ive travelled lately has been discovering Jethro Tull courtesy of Jerome and Music Head

thankfully, i have two mates who are in their 20s who either managed a record store(corey) or still do(tem)...they often get me to buy the odd album by an artist i know nothing about...mostly good selections, but on the odd occasion i do get the odd dud album
