its not an "insiders,no fair game" as you put it jazzbo...
its a fun game to guess the artists both Music Head and I own in our cd collections....
the clues are generally simple enough for people to try to guess a band/artist name...
the idea is that people who dont know the bands in question may have an urge to seek them out on youtube and learn about another group they havent heard of....
and i know for a fact that Music Head,evilB, and SteveO have heard of The Church from previous posts made on MD in the past.
its definately not a plot or anything but a simple piece of fun whilst members are on MD.
i think both Music Head and myself offer prizes for ultimate letter winners in our competitions....

Music sharing is one of the primary mandates of MD...I know all about The Church (thanks to Evil and Crazy mate)...amazing band ahead of its' time !!!! I took a stab with the cross but I knew Evil dude had it nailed!!! Great fun this is!!!!

you are correct, i own two albums by Aussie alt guys The Church, who IMO, were one of the most underrated bands worldwide in the 1980s/90s...
infact, they never really achieved nothing more than a cult following here, but still tour and still release new music.
i have two albums on cd, their debut set "the blurred crusade" and a best of set also...
both have been previously posted by me...both are linked below.
love the debut album and the best of set isnt far behind it!
im embarrassed that i dont actually own more by these guys,because they were a class-act IMO!
