Snoop is a joke. He had something ten, maybe fifteen years ago when he teamed up with Dre. But now... commericals and a show on VH-1 (or is it MTV)? He's lost my respect.

Jay-Z is the best rapper alive. That American Gangster Album really pushed him to number one for me. I heard a lot of his stuff growing up but really got it when I listened to that.
The Rest: 2. Common-he really just impresses me everytime he opens his mouth 3. Nas 4. Eminem And I agree whole heartedly with JonG. I know lots of people who love him simply because he's so mainstream and on the radio a lot. He doesn't rap, he performs.

There is no question that lil boosie is the best rapper alive all of these rappers in the poll are old the new best rapper is lil boosie. If you have not heard any of his mosic then you need to go to limewire are youtube are somewhere and listen to it..No rapper can get you more crunk and in the mood than lil boosie.

My personal favorite among all five of them is Marshall Bruce Mathers III AKA Eminem AKA Slim Shady AKA (well..pardon me..:lol
 There's actually reasons for selecting him among these five extraordinary gentlemen:innocent:.. Number 1:- He raps good, freestyles brilliantly Number 2:- He looks cool, energetic and pessimistic all at the same time! Number 3:- His history is inspiring. Points should be given to him for his constant struggles for making it this BIG.

I love Eminem.
His rapping is so unconventional in that his voice and cadence is strictly Caucasian, pretty much. Also that he doesn't give a flying f*ck about what anyone else thinks. AT ALL. And his vulgar (AND AWESOME) lyrics display this mindset. Also I personally think his lyrics are genius and effective. They really get his point across.
