Sam Cooke - A Change Is Gonna Come

Heh, found another song. Being the change you want to see in the world starts with being aware of your own actions, IMO.

Ludovico Einaudi - Elegy for the Arctic

For those who are concerned about the planet. Not the biggest fan of Greenpeace, but that's not the point of the video for me.

An anti-war anthem by ole Sabbath. One of the songs I've been digging throughout the election. I'm not a complete pacifist, but I'm tired of so much drama from ISIS to some politicians of ours who want to start more conflict in the Middle East to countries giving away nuclear weapons like they are candy. Seriously, humans find new and more dangerous ways of killing each other.
Why?

Black Sabbath - War Pigs

I agree with the sentiments of the song...stop treating human lives like chess pieces and mere collateral damage. Sigh, I'm so tired and angry from it all. When it's you and your loved ones losing their livelihood then the realities of the horrors of these fights become understood. Look at the number of our US soldiers who are sent to these places like in the Middle East and come back with PTSD, Depression, etc. The VA system needs improvements too.

U2 - Sunday Bloody Sunday

Trying to find a protest song that expresses how I feel about police brutality is harder than I thought it would be to find.

This is probably one of the most divisive issues this election, so many people are angry that it's hard to have a conversation about it. My opposition to police brutality does not mean I support killing of cops because of a few corrupt, bad eggs. Violence begets violence.

Police brutality against African Americans has been going on a long time even before the Civil Rights Movement in the 60s in the South. From the horrific and unjustified killing of Emmett Till to Rodney King's beating to these recent killings, our justice system is failing to protect some our citizens, IMO.

I don't claim to know every detail behind some incidents I hear about on the News, but I know an injustice when it happens. 12 year old boys should not have to worry about being shot to death because they have a water gun. C'mon.

I know we have our problems. We have a lot of work to do but this is still the second greatest nation on Earth.
There are still good people here who stand up for what they believe in.
We still have time to get our Country back where it used to be and even better than it used to be.
It's up to us not Washington. Get those deadbeats out of office. If they have spent most of their lives there
and we still see no change only bad news, get them out. Don't let them die in office.
Ask yourself what have they done for us.
I'm not completely sold on Trump but the Clintons have had their turn. Enough is enough.
We won't see a change for the good until we the voters make it happen.
However, this is by far a much better place to live than most of the Middle East and then some.

Anyone who knows the ORB or been to one of their concerts will know how patriotic these guys are.
I love them. They are so friendly and they love America.
This song was written by Joe. He also wrote the book about his Mom & Dad (GI Joe & Lillie).
Heart throbbing at the end.

You might be right there. But it would be a real stretch of the imagination to call Israel the best country in the world. Have nothing against it, but I can think of ten places I would rather live than Israel.
