The Videos never do in a lot of cases !!!! I find You Tube have bad sounding videos in a lot of cases !!!!

Don't know about the best beginning to a track but the best intro to a live concert I have ever heard is the prologue to Neil Diamond's 'Hot August Night' - simply awesome -

i agree Jerome, also in the 1970s Elvis used the theme from the "2001 S.O" movie as the build up prior to walking on stage

I remember that well. Had a mate Steven Immelman - sadly no longer with us - whose mother was hooked on Elvis. Used to play it all the time and that's where I heard it the first time. By the way on both the Diamond & Elvis intro's the drummer plays a key part in catapulting the performance into the next track. Both brilliant drummers too.
