No offense taken of course, and none intended by any comments I make.
It's usually all in fun. We all have our own taste in music.
I listen to music that I don't think I will like, in order to know if I might like it.
I listen to full albums from that perspective.
Although I am rarely swayed, it does happen.
My distaste for electronic music comes down to what you describe as the use of real instruments.
I enjoy music that you can enjoy watching being performed.
When I see someone turning knobs or pushing buttons to generate sounds it just pushes my button.
The reason we see so much of this type of music is that it takes no talent or money to produce it.
Hell, I could do it. And if I can do it, it takes no talent.
Musicians that play real instruments have talent. Computer generated sounds require no talent.
Everybody just rips off everybody else, then call it original.
We now have "beats" for sale. wtf?
As far as commenting in the Electronic section of the forum, I'm in every section, I live here.

Now there's a great comment...I hate blues and jazz ...from "voyager!...lol...if I hear it and like it I like it....I am not "genre" limited ...thank goodness! Try Steven Wilson's new album The Raven...lots of nice mellotrons, acoustic guitars, drums and intelligence...reminds me of so many bands,,,CSN and Pink Floyd come to mind!
