Well, it's a relative inability to detect sarcasm. If I am admitting this, where's the insecurity? It can't be that I am unable to detect sarcasm, because, well... I just admitted it... At least in regard to the internet.

I, uh, guess that this won't be the most popular thing to say... but I kinda like the album. I'd heard various mixes of most of the tracks long ago. They didn't do much for me at first (except for Better since I just fell in love with it immediately) but most of the tracks did grow on me over time. When I finally put in the actual disc to listen to the final mixes, I found myself really enjoying it.

I don't know. I actually think that it's a good album. Is it anywhere near as amazing as it would have to be to live up to all of this hype and wait? Of course not. I'm still actually enjoying what I'm hearing though.

The daughter of a work colleague is a professional dancer, and had a booking for the filming of a forthcoming G'n'R video.

Asked him today if there was any news, and he said that the shoot had been postponed (What a surprise !), so she will have to miss out on the job.

Reason for the postponement: Axl won't be recovered from his latest cosmetic surgery in time for the shoot...

Here is a GNR fan, I was raised on the greatest hits album and loved it. I hadn't been waiting for a new album. After the first couple false release dates I gave up hope and waited for something tangible. However. I am severely disappointed with Chinese Democracy. It did not help Axel at all to take so much time to do this. He overdid every song. There is just too much going on that all of the simplicity of GNR is gone. All I want is that kick ass guitar and some screaming Axel, not all of this in-studio bullcrap that they've pulled on this album. Disappointed GNR fan to say the least.
