BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN "the wild, the innocent and the e-street shuffle" cd,1973.
Bruce's second album from way back when....
the E-Street Band are his band on here but are uncredited on the sleeve unlike follow up albums...
allmusic rate this a perfect 3.0, also describing it as "one of rock's greatest albums ever"...
its basically The Boss telling stories of everyday mundane, boring life in Jersey...something he has always excelled at(much like Bob Dylan in that respect), he's able to tap into the psychy of society's life and keep it 'real', none moreso than on the beautiful haunting "4th of july, asbury pk(sandy)" which is written by someone way older with life experiences than his youthful 22yrs of age....
im also a bit surprised by the high score on this one, always liked it a lot, but scoring albums sometimes comes up with some pleasant and sometimes not so pleasant ratings for me!...this one is one in the former catagory....
hey Bruce....long may you run!
I LOVE THIS ALBUM

PAOLO NUTINI - Sunny Side Up (2009)
![[Image: 220px-NutiniSSU.jpg]](http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/e/e6/NutiniSSU.jpg/220px-NutiniSSU.jpg)
Paolo Nutini is a young singer/songwriter from Paisley, Scotland. Sunny Side Up is his second studio album. He is a difficult artist to categorise as he sings rock, folk, blues and reggae. This is an enjoyable album and one I recommend!

THE BEATLES "with the beatles" cd/vinyl,1963
thankfully,
onto the third Fab4 album...cant wait to finish, three albums then doing this is too much(cant believe i got through the Neil young beginners guide now)
the Fab-Four's second album release....
not quite as rocky as the debut, more melodic with lots and lots of beautifully crafted songs and harmonising...
six of the tracks are covers....still finding and refining their writing skills at this point, but the raw talent is evident all over this one.
the first album was recorded in one day, this one in 28hrs of recording time over six days, which shows theres no ned to spend two years in a studio like a lot of artists do nowadays...you either have talent or you dont and it should flow naturally, not by engineers tweeking buttons on a motherboard to make you sound good or auto-tune!
I LOVE THIS ALBUM
