Yes I could do that and frequently do BUT; (1) others/ newbies don't and (2) some of those references are buried miles deep (a weakness of this brand of Board) and (3) each post should be complete and entire, so if a reference is made, it ought to be linked if the Post is to flow freely and not be all disjointed. My personal feelings only...feel free/ be free to disregard.

Yeah, we assuredly need more of that in these parlous times....NOT. Try this instead:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hzj3pOdCOqU << I'm decidedly secular so I substitute "The Beach Boys" for "Jesus" and "blues" for "sins". Feel free to insert your favorite up-beat group instead--just not some witless, slap-happy, tom-foolery but something to look forward to, to work towards. Is that really so hard? I think the essential problem is that miserable people want everybody to know about, to spread the pain--happy people share only with a few. Look at communications with businesses--99% complaints, maybe as much as 1% praise. And so it goes...

^ Thanks. I've got McTell's Spiral Staircase album from 1969 which has Streets of London, and Ward's compilation Gaye and Other Stories (1992), which includes Gaye and Scullery. Tragically, Clifford T. Ward died of MS in 2001. He was only 57. Ralph McTell is still working and will be 70 on 7th December.
