i heard the Bob Dylan one at the cd store today...lots of demo's and alternate versions of the tracks off "self portrait"...usually i stay away from these sorts of albums but not always?!,
i was actually impressed by it,better than i thought it would be, but i am not that huge a fan of Bob Dylan that i would buy it unless it was on super discount maybe?

Civil Wars album got a couple of good reviews here in the last week, im still not sold on those guys yet though..

Imagine Dragons is on my list to purchase this year

Bruno Mars, good to still say that very good "unorthodox jukebox" still riding high on the charts...

i find that album to be very average for a relatively early Dylan album...
i found the new album with the stripped down versions sounded better because they werent 'over produced'...just raw warts and all ragged sounding Dylan...and thats the way i like him...

its not an essential one to get more of a curiosity i guess, it was a 2 disc set so as you can imagine there are multiple versions of some of the songs...

According to Joni Mitchell, Bob has lost his urge for creativity, he told her that he writes music now within his "BOX" whatever that means? Joni also remarked that Dylan borrowed his voice from an old hillbilly and he doesn't play guitar that well. She does a great impression of Bob speaking...lol...I love Joni but is there a smack of jealousy here or just being Joni...saying it like it is?...I don't think she has a jealous bone in her body! Her album BLUE raised a lot of controversy when it was first released due to the exploration of the human soul! BLUE is now a classic ...I recently revisited the album and now I love it! Funny how albums grow on you over time!
