Don't come to Canada! We have no jobs especially in Cape Breton! Of course you can get a part time job at McDonalds or become a sanitary engineer. Minimum wage is $10.75 an hour.

we have so many flies here in Australia...house flies, sand flies, march flies, horse flies, bluebottles, blowflies...
the March and Horse flies bite, and man do they hurt!
theres so many flies around in the warmer months that they can get up your nose or you end up swallowing at once a year as they fly in your mouth while youre talking.
welcome to the Land Down Under.
we also have seventeen of the top twenty most venomous snakes in the world right here in Australia, they put your Rattlers/Cottonnouth's to shame with their potency!
and you guys have Gators, our big Salt Water Crocodiles could eat them and still be hungry...LOL!
and lets not get on to the Ocean, we've a thousand things out there that will seriously injure or kill/eat you!

Ew, the flies sound pretty awful there. I've heard that horse fly bites are very painful. The flies here are in-your-face and mostly annoying.
I need to watch out for brown recluse spiders which are common here and aggressive and the occasional venomous snake. The US does have tarantula hawk wasps which are pretty much evil incarnate haha. They hunt poor tarantulas and the sting they deliver is pretty painful, second to the infamous bullet ant.
The marine life in Australia sounds interesting (and scary), I would like to visit the Great Barrier Reef one day.
